IT'S FALL Y'ALL!!
We are starting to hear about pumpkin spice everything, fall leaves, sweater weather....it's SO many people's favorite time of year!
For me, it's also about the time I fall (no pun intended) into family sessions and LOTS of personal shooting! Although the personal end never really stops lol.
If anyone plans for a photo session, 95% of the time it's in the fall.
So now, we are starting to see those leaves - a - changing!
We took a trip up to St. Mary's glacier last weekend and saw a lot of changes coming!
When you are thinking of fall photo shoots, you want to time it right to actually take advantage of that beautiful warm hues it provides! It's not always easy to plan, especially if you want to stay local in Denver! We all know how things can change quickly!
If you are open to making a short trip up the hill, you will be able to get some pretty sweet fall colors probably in the next 2-4 weeks! If you pull up a cool web site like this one Fall Foliage map you can see when the fall leaves are expected to peak in your area! For Colorado, it looks like late September will be amazing in the mountains, early October in the City!
Wildflowers mixed with some yellow leaves are looking beautiful still in the mountains!
Check out the yellows and reds already peeking into the landscape! St. Mary's is between 10k - 13k in elevation!
Breathtaking!
You can get recommendations from your photographer as to where a great location would be to meet the needs of your group! If it is just one child, it may require a completely different setting than a family.
While this setting is far from the city, the backdrop is stunning!
Finding a location with water is SO awesome to get variety and beautiful reflections!
Now that we know and accept that summer is waning, be sure to look at your calendar and get a session on the books! They fill up quickly and you don't want to miss out!
